The Issue

Bao Manh Doan, affectionately known as Bobby, is more than just a resident of Brookville, PA – he is a vital part of our community. Bobby is an exceptional individual who has woven himself into the very fabric of our town. His presence is felt not only through the popular business he runs at Bella Nails but also through the unwavering support and kindness he extends to everyone around him.

Bobby's journey to the United States is one of hope and dedication. He came to the U.S with a refugee status after the Fall of Saigon in Vietnam. His father served in the Vietnam military on the U.S side. Like many others, he sought a place where he could work hard and build a better future for himself and those he loves. Over the years, he has proven himself as an outstanding citizen, not just abiding by the law, but going above and beyond to contribute positively to Brookville. His business doesn't just serve customers; it brings people together, fosters connections, and boosts our local economy.

The thought of Bobby being sent back to Vietnam, the country he left in search of a brighter future, is a disheartening blow to all who know him. His absence would be a significant loss to Brookville – not just economically, but socially and culturally as well. He is part of the backbone of our community.

Bobby deserves the chance to continue his life here, where he has built friendships, a business, and a home. His contributions should be recognized, and he should be granted the opportunity to gain citizenship in the United States. It's crucial that his efforts and dedication to this community do not go unrecognized. This family needs the community more than ever. They lost an amazing mother/wife on April 30th 2025 and they can NOT lose their father.

We urge those in power to see Bobby's value to Brookville, PA, and support his case to stay in the U.S. Please sign this petition to help keep Bobby in the United States, where he truly belongs and can continue to thrive and support his cherished community. Your signature can make a difference. Join us in standing by Bobby, as he has stood by all of us.
