Hello Supporters,

I want to thank everyone who has taken a position against the proposed demolition of our neighborhood shopping center to build a Home Depot Superstore.  With all your help we reached 300 signatures in just two weeks.  The goal is to reach 500 signatures, the amount necessary to demonstrate  significant community opposition. 

I have been informed by Los Angeles City Planning they are waiting additional materials from Home Depot before the processing of the case file.  It is anticipated that will be completed by the end of Summer.  I will keep you informed when the initial Public Hearing is scheduled.
