If you’re a pet lover like me then you can understand where I’m coming from. I’m having the hardest time right now, the High Point Police Department, wrongfully and inhumanely murdered my dog. He was only one years old, he was still a puppy .He was a sweet, loving dog and I guess cause he was a pitbull He looked vicious and they were so-called scared .He was in his own yard. He didn’t attack anybody. He didn’t go out the grass he didn’t jump on nobody he was innocent all he ever did was protect his household. I’m going through the worst time of my life right now dealing with this death ,the police officers showed no sympathy. They didn’t even care that they just took a family member from me my dog died right in front of me and my two daughters.If you take a police officers dog, they will send you to jail for life. What about taking my dog’s life when he didn’t even do anything ? I’m so hurt and this police department already has a reputation. They don’t do anything right they don’t help people they don’t solve murders. They are trigger Happy. If you know anything about High Point, North Carolina then you know what I mean. My baby was such a sweet boy ,so loving he loved kids. Not one child was ever scared. How is a police officer scared of a dog that’s not even attacking anybody?? I never slept without him. I’m going through depression and I think I need to see a psychiatrist. I don’t know when this pain is going to end , please help me get justice for my boy while I go through this legal battle. I’m filing a lawsuit, They will not get away with this .If things are not changed, then somebody else will go through the same thing I went through police shouldn't have to use deadly force on an animal that’s only barking or protecting his home. That’s ridiculous. My whole family is impacted. I’m going through the worst time. Depression is taken over. I love this dog like a son, and if you’re an animal lover then you know what I mean this pain is unbearable. He was shot in the head and he didn’t even attack anybody jump on anybody or hurt anyone. I need to take immediate action because it’s hard for one fighting cases dealing with the police department and if I don’t take action now then my boys life will go in vain. I have to keep his name alive. I have to get justice for him to even get some type of peace because this pain I’m feeling inside, Nobody else should have to go through. Please help me make awareness for the situation and hopefully High Point police department can pay for their actions and do better with training their officers better when dealing with animals.
