I honestly pushed this petition aside for a while as I've been making other efforts for the animal world through my blog and Instagram. My three hermit crabs (Lola, Brigadier, and Harley) are doing well, and it still sickens me to think they once had to pay the price of the ignorance and laziness of people that don't research pet care...they had to endure the hardships of a crowded tank at Petsmart because apparently "it's okay for them". Anyway, we need to get this petition going again. WE ARE SO CLOSE TO 500 SUPPORTERS! Please, please, please, share this petition! Email it to friends, family, and neighbors...post it on your Facebook page, your Instagram account, talk about it on Twitter, forums you go on, at the end of a blog post, spread awareness through word of mouth...just do whatever you can to let others know about this petition! Are we going to let hermit crabs sit and slowly suffer in pet stores, only for others to take note of the bad care and think it's alright? I think you know what happens next. That innocent onlooker as mentioned will see nothing wrong with the terrible setup because pet stores are supposed to be good models of pet care and that person will purchase a hermit crab and give it the same horrible life. That person will deprive the hermit crab of a social life, a proper diet, freshwater and saltwater, adequate space, proper heat and humidity, causing it to slowly and painfully suffocate...I beg of you, don't be that person. Be the person to SHARE THIS PETITION and HELP SAVE THE HERMIT CRABS!
