Thanks for Supporting this Petition You will be aware Maylim are now 4 Months into the Project and deep excavations in the Town End Pier gardens.

At this stage in the Project the damage they are doing to the Grounds in Pier gardens is going to be irreversible  and If you do not agree with whats happening I urge you to write To Maylim and Project Managers to request an urgent  Halt to the ongoing works stating your reasons and log as a Formal Complaint.

You have a year to go yet ,if we do not stop this project to get back into the former Pier gardens

I Raised  at least 10 points in the Petition for you to be able to Hold the Council to account on and you can do this if you missed any of the raised points why not revisit the page online and make a note of the points raised you can then incorporate the into your Formal complaint.

Of course you will  be required to prove any raised points and supply evidence but if you follow the Highlighted points raised in the petition and procedures it may not be that difficult to hold the council to account because any request you make you will receive feed back from the relevant  departments for your Information.which you will be able to use to back up your complaint.

For example 1 point Highlighted was Holding the Council to account for anti social behaviour ,because they were siting this as a reason to Modernise and redesign the former grounds ,saying this was a Significant reason However if you look on the Police website anti social incidents logged were not as vast as the council made out and if in any year they were the council can be held to account for not addressing the problems and removing assets like the Former Maze to justify there actions of ripping up the Former grounds without considering other options 1st.

If you look in your local area crime numbers  for Pier gardens ,you will be able to prove this either way and Force a community trigger,and the councils Pier garden project would then be subject to review .

That is only 1 point there are many more to make a note of but if you're serious about halting these works we all must act fast.

We are not going to give up without a mental fight.for an already much loved Former garden

Continue to share this Petition Times running out to save the former gardens or at the very least Modification.

Why not consider writing to the Nw reform leader requesting an urgent stop to the ongoing Pier garden project ,Staying your reasons you have nothing to lose.

We need to bombard the council with  so many complaints to the point they cannot Ignore them and everyone of you count.
