Since your company purchased Camfrog, things have gone downhill like a snowboarder avoiding an avalanche. The only way your company could afford to purchase Camfrog, was through venture capital. You're reason for "wanting to gain in the Asian market" was just lame. The supposed Asian market you speak of, is a huge credit card fraud market. Asians cannot afford a real yearly membership, they never could. The Camfrog once for lifetime membership was closer to what that market could really afford. All your aquisition of Camfrog could ever possibly do, is to increase the fraudulent purchase of memberships! What a
corporate game plan !

If you would examine the Thai market for example, you will find many of those Thai users have lots of virtual gifts. These are way to expensive for the average Thai. I had the pleasure of living in Thailand for 4 years during my high school years, 1968-72. Their economy, while growing, still will not support frivolous purchases like virtual gifts. I suspect credit card fraud is the basis for those gifts.

The policing of the Camfrog rooms , leaves much to be desired. Your present crew are kicking and banning long term Camfroggers in a vulgar display of power. I have been here since the beginning and have seen it happen now and then in the past. Those admins were removed and new ones replaced the unfair admins. These days, there is much more abuse of the power you allow these admins. Favoritism and cronyism abounds in the Camfrog sponsored rooms. 

In the early days of Camfrog, there were varying and non standard reasons for discipline. We did a ad-hoc set of rules early on, but those have changed over time, due to interpretations by the various admins over the years.

All admins, Operators and Room Owners, should be American or native English language users over the age of 21 years. This would give better control over the admins. Ideally, admins should be vetted, subject to a criminal investigation for felonies and sex offenses. A written application and a notarized photo ID would go a long way to exclude undesireable admins. In the past, we have had admins with ulterior motives.

Consistancy is the way to go for any professional organization.

1.Sexual Content Prohibited.
2.No Profanity or Swearing.
3.No Directing or Requesting user actions.
4.Do Not violate the Camfrog Terms of Service.
5.Music not permitted.
6.Respect All Users, Operators and Owners.
7.Politics or Religion are not topics for discussion.

I would rename the All Ages rooms to Family rooms. Family is translatable in ALL 
languages. IN addition I would have two clients, Family and Adult. The Adult client
would never see the All Ages rooms.

There is another important thing that needs to be addressed in ALL All Ages rooms :
Older users watching and trying to contact minor users. While people lie on their
profiles, all we can do is view their supposed age and use that as a determining factor
for discipline in the rooms. Alternatively, an grey haired old man on camera trying to 
contact minors is a dead give-away. Such actions should be a BAN, and not the lame
14 day 'ban' you currently have. All bans should be IP and nickname BAN NO-EXPIRE.

There are literally trillions of IP addresses associated with IP4. A ban should be a
permanent thing. IPV6 will open up gazillions more addresses to deal with. To be pro-active
is a good thing. MAC banning is almost useless, in as much as MAC addresses can be spoofed,
as can IP addresses.

I suggest the software, during installation, take inventory of the motherboard ID and serial number and the processor ID and serial number. Banning both the motherboard and processor would be a better way to ban. Make it more expensive to get back on to the service after a ban. Either motherboard or processor getting banned would require them to purchase a new computer or find one that has not logged into the service before. This is merely a programming thing, and not defeatable by the average user, unless they have deep pockets.

The parental controls should be set by default to privacy, no video broadcast or viewing. The
TOS says minors need parental supervision. Your admins need to challenge the minors whenever
they show up in the chat room. Parental supervision means that a parent is really nearby and watching the child. This does not mean that mummy or daddy is in the next room, or off to the store for whatever reason.

The parents need to be there, physically, and be able to chat with the admins, preferable on camera. Merely being an adult in the same house is NOT sufficient, the adult must be the parent or LEGAL Guardian. Saying you are the guardian is not sufficient.

The Terms of Service need to be modified to require a real, paid-for email address, not a free email service. This leads to abuse. Like the call-back verifiers from the old BBS days, verification needs to be done using email, legitimate email.

There is another feature I would like to see personally, unless you are on my friends list, you cannot view my camera. Camfrog disallowed camless people for a short time, and then allowed Lurkers . How counterproductive is this? It chased hundreds of potentially good, paying users, away. Especially the ladies. If you want to look at someone's camera, you should have your face on camera too. It is only fair.
This IS a video chat, after all.

What you need to do is attract good, paying users, not discouraginhg them. Ladies who enter for the first time do not want blind IM's saying "Hey Babby, look my dick". This is common sense. While it is true that some ladies like any kind of attention , whether good , bad or indifferent, there are far more ladies who like being treated nice. Women make websites worth visiting, for the most part, even though some of the men have ulterior motives. I would also institute a 3 ladies block the same nickname, as a BAN. It would save the other ladies the pain or bother.

When people first log in to the service, they need to be analyzed. If user HugeOne4U logs in for the first time and says they are from the US, their IP address should reflect that place of origin. We had a Turkish user who kept making user ID's that said he was from the US, when his IP address said otherwise. This is FRAUD, there is no other way to look at it. Those people need banned and restricted to their geographical area. This is a big concern for many people. Liars are not needed on any chat service. We all know what they are after, ladies or children. There are only a few legitimate reasons for this lie to happen.

Relatives who are deployed by the military, or people who are traveling. I can think of no other reason to say you are FROM one place, but actually are in Another place. Fraud needs to be stopped.


Some  individual needs removed permanently from the service, for Fraud and wanking in All Ages rooms. Claiming to be Ruby Eastman, he is a man who wanks whenever he can, in front of children. Fix this forever! Camfrog has taken no real action against this pervert.

There are many others who commit fraud and need to be removed.



A well reasoned response may give us an advantage.

UPDATE : Yesterday i found an old comment on a petition from 2010 which stated that xrcode which is formally "naughty lil hooties hoster " is now hosting Wank-o-thon on OVH servers.
