I've lost so many family members and friends to gun violence in Kalamazoo, Michigan that my heart aches every time I hear about another incident. Our community is bleeding, and it's our children, our future, who are bearing the brunt of this senseless violence. We cannot continue to lose our youth to a crisis that can be prevented.
