We are calling on Justin Trudeau and the Liberal government to take action against the grocery chains who are gouging consumers at their stores. 

These chains, and other food corporations, are recording record profits, and contributing to food insecurity for countless people in Canada. 

Food is a requirement as fundamental as breathing air, and a basic human right. 

We call on the government to regulate these corporations, and demand that they reduce prices.. 

People are suffering and children are going to bed hungry, food banks are cutting the portions of food they give out due to over demand, while corporations continue to overcharge for the sake of delivering higher 
returns to their shareholders. 

Their behaviour is unethical and reprehensible.
