We, the undersigned, condemn any plans for reopening a greyhound track at Swaffham Raceway, Norfolk.

Greyhound racing is cruel and has no part in modern society. 

Major animal charities RSPCA, Dogs Trust, Blue Cross and others,  following an independent review into racing, have withdrawn their support of more than twenty years and are calling for a phased ban.

It is well known that no amount of welfare can prevent the horrific injuries/deaths caused by racing.

Injuries to greyhounds: 27,121

Greyhound deaths: 3,818

Trackside deaths: 1,125

Unwanted greyhounds leaving racing alive: 39,286
