The Peanut and Fred Federal Animal, Pet and Furry Family Members  Act

This Act, as written in it’s title, is made to finally  recognize the obvious importance that animals play in the health, happiness, and lives of American Families.

We say, clearly, American Families because we maintain that any animal that shares it’s life with a person almost instantly becomes a family and it is the affection of the parties, and not the species, that determines family.

Far too long, we have watched in horror as local, state and federal agencies have, in many cases, used constitutionally questionable laws, created by government agencies, not congress, to infringe on our Constitutional rights, to provide them with access to our homes, to kidnap, harm and often kill our furry family members.

We ask, you to sign this petition, to implore all local, state and federal law makers, to limit the power of agencies, to enforce any law that violates an American home, for the purpose to enter or investigate the presence of any animals kept within the home or suitably protected property that do not pose a proven and immediate threat to the public.

If the public is not in immediate danger, then reasonable time can be taken to go through due process and sort out each individual case, to ensure that not one American family is ever unnecessarily ripped away from a Furry Family member.

1)  To be reasonable – in a case of serious and imminent  public threat, this law will not apply, however this law does provide that the burden of proof will be on the law enforcement agency involved.

2)  In any case, no family pet, animal, Furry Family member will ever be “euthanized , killed or harmed in any way that is not completely necessary, providing law enforcement agencies exhaust all efforts to provide a safe opportunity for all animals, family members, pets, ect, to be removed

3)  Further, no pet, animal, or furry family member be removed from an area that has historically been proven safe for a period of 3 month or more.

4)  In the case of dangerous animals, known to be of exceptional threats to humans, where there is no reasonable reason to assume the animal can escape, clear signs around the property warning all potential visitors of the danger of the animal.

5)  In the case of any animal removal, no animal will be killed , harmed or euthanized until ordered by a court and been given the full opportunity to go through the appeals process.

6)  All pets, animals and Furry Family members will have complete access to their family while in incarceration and will be allowed to give any food and or medicine normally provided without exception so long as such does not pose serious threat. Again, burden of proof will be on the law enforcement agency.

7)  Additionally, no person or agency will give or administer any food, medicine or substance to any animal in question without the express and written approval of the family.

8)  All measures will be taken to keep families intact with their Furry Family member, pet or animal, however, in a case, due to clear public safety or nuisance, this cannot be avoided, all persons , facilities and agencies involved will be completely responsible for the safety and well being of the animal, pet, Furry Family member, etc.

9)  No warrant shall be given, in any case, based on anonymous tip or any person that cannot reasonably provide evidence of threat to person or animal.

10)                    While investigating “tips” if reasonable evidence cannot be obtained from the property line of the subject then no law enforcement agency or officer will trespass on the property to gain evidence.
