Amanda and her 5 year old son have been given a notice to quit from their landlord after they refused to pay anymore illegal admin fees.

Amanda has been trying to find alternative accommodation, but other properties are unaffordable, or nowhere near her son’s school. The council have also indicated that there is very little chance of finding alternative accommodation for her any time soon.

Amanda, a Living Rent member, has been a perfect tenant unfortunately she has had to take the brave decision to remain in the property, but the landlord is not backing down. We need your help to support her and her son to stay in their home.

We are asking that the Letting Agency and Landlord engage with us to allow Amanda and her 5 year old son the right to stay in their home, at very least until somewhere else is found, and that the illegal admin fees are refunded.
