Football is more than just a game; it's a global passion that unites individuals, communities, and entire nations. However, recent trends led by Gianni Infantino, the President of FIFA, threaten to commercialize this beloved sport to unprecedented levels, favoring profits over the heart of the game.

Every day the sport moves further away from the fans towards ads and interests of lining the pockets of the selected few. The latest developments underline this once more. Red cards being rescinded because politicians interfere. Now a new commercialisation attempt to have Donald Trump's  son-in-law Josh Kusher have a stake in the organization of world football.

Stakeholders do not do it for the love of the game, there will be expectations in return.  Infantino is bribing and threatening all countries to follow suit in exchange for money. Yet if this is passed. There is no turning back from it. We didn't need extra billions to love the game when  R9, Zidane and Ronaldinho were gracing the pitch and we don't need them now. It's time for federations to take a stand and protect the game we all love.

And it's time for us to up the pressure on them! We, the fans, who are spending our money to buy tickets for games, television subscriptions, shirts,... we are what drives football and our voices are meant to be heard!
