first, kfc blessed us with popcorn chicken: small, crispy, delicious bites of chicken, which were discontinued in 2011. fans of popcorn chicken, including myself, were devastated. in 2015, kfc gave us a slightly bigger and less crispy version of popcorn chicken, renamed popcorn nuggets. sold in different sized boxes and combo meals, they lasted a while, still being sold in most locations… but by no-later-than february of 2023, they will be completely gone and replaced by the new “Kentucky Fried Chicken Nuggets.” kfc, i and plenty of other avid fans of popcorn chicken, urge you to STOP. chicken nuggets are sold at almost every other fast food place there is, if you want to be unoriginal and join them, fine, but there is NO reason to get rid of a fan-favorite in the process. please, popcorn nuggets are the only thing i eat at kfc, help me out here.
