The Genocide in Gaza has massacared over 30,000 Palestinians since October 7 last year. A greater number of those killed are children and women. The Zionist Israeli regime of Benjamin Netnayahu is pursuing a programme of extermination and ethnic-cleansing of Palestinians, supported by all imperialist powers, led by the Biden Administration. Gazan kids are dying of starvation, dehydration and diseases; their families, homes, whole neighbourhoods and all infrastructure are destroyed by targeted bombardment. Palestinian men, women and kids lined up for food aid are shot dead. The most unimaginable forms of suffering, cruelty and barbarity prevail on the soil of Palestine, before our eyes. Netnayahu has defied all international laws, and is planning a blood-shed over a million of people in Rafah, the so-called 'safe-zone'. This genocide should be stopped right now! 

The Palestinians have been under continuous terror of an apartheid oppression for 75 years. History did not begin on October 7. The Nakba has continued since 1948. As the World Socialist Web Site International Editorial Chairman, David North has put it, "the establishment of the Zionist state was not only a tragedy for the Palestinians, it was, and is, a tragedy for the Jewish people as well".

American imperialism is funding and supplying military aid to fascistic Netnayahu regime to carry out the genocide and, along with Biden, Sunak, Trudeau, Macron, Scholz and other capitalist leaders, all have Palestinian blood on their hands. Zionist Israel is their making, for their own geopolitical,  economic and financial interests. These same powers who now outlaw anti-Zionist activism as anti-Semitism and prosecute protestors against Genocide, are themselves the heirs of the very same anti-Semites who were once complicit in the horrendous Nazi crimes against the Jews. 

Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism! From the outset, the Zionist project,  based on a reactionary ideology and program to establish a Jewish homeland in Palestine, was opposed to the overthrow of the economic, political and social relations of capitalism that were and are the source of modern political anti-Semitism. Beginning with Theodore Herzl, the founder of modern Zionism, the concept of a Jewish state was directed against the socialist program. It opposed the international solidarity of the working class as the path to the liberation of the Jews, and sought its future in an alliance with one or another reactionary power. The two-state solution is therefore an imperialist trap. 

Appealing to the very same reactionary imperialist powers will not stop the massacre, nor will the war criminals be made accountable.  Crisis ridden, these powers are planning a war with China, and are waging a war against Russia in Ukraine, as part of a global nuclear war that would entail Iran, the Middle East and the rest of the world. In these imperialist centers too, the war abroad has brought social counter-revolution at home. 

Manifestation of the hold of imperialism takes different forms: it may be war, it may be debt and austerity. Therefore, there is no fight against debt and austerity without a fight against war, and vice versa. 

We understand that it is only the working class and the masses around the world mobilized under the leadership of international working class that can stop Gaza Genocide, war and social counter-recolution. 

We, workers, peasants, students, youth, artists, journalists, academics, intellectuals etc. in Sri Lanka, South Asia and around the world, join in solidarity with the Palestinian people, and state that the regimes of Netanyahu, Biden, Sunak, Trudeau, Macron, Scholz and all those who support the Zionist regime should stop the Palestinian Genocide now! We pledge to fight till our demands are met. 

We, the workers around the world, united especially with the Israeli and US working-class brothren,  pledge that we are ready unleash our enourmous power to fight for political power, independent of the State-Company-Trade Union alliance, to call general strikes, to stop war funding and military aid, and stop the Genocide and the world war.
