The use of gas chambers to end the lives of unwanted dogs or cats at kill shelters is inhumane. They suffer severe torture with this form of euthanasia. It is not a quick, painless way to die as many people may think. They are jammed into the chamber box; they cry and scratch and bite to get out as they slowly suffocate an excrutiating death while urinating and defecating themselves. Afterwards they are thrown into a pile to be disposed of like a huge dump of trash. This happens to pregnant mama dogs, puppies, kittens, pregnant mama cats, and they try to get the pregnant ones into the chamber before they have a chance to have their litters. Please join me in stopping this hideous form of death.
