STOP the proposed 6-mile gas pipeline on the American Tobacco Trail.

A 12-inch gas line would run along part of the American Tobacco Trail under a plan Dominion Energy put before the state Department of Transportation earlier this month.

The pipeline would run adjacent to the trail for nearly 6 miles, in a 30-foot clearing some 40 feet from the trail's centerline, according to the company.
