Like many of you, I am outraged by the regressive policies toward women's reproductive rights intend by Donald Trump. On a personal note, my mother, who strongly advocated for women's rights, would join me in this protest if she were alive today. As a woman, it's deeply personal and frightening to witness the potential stripping away of our reproductive freedoms under Trump's administration.

His administration has a plan to implement measures that put women at peril. Numerous women have sadly lost their lives due to his abortion bans. With plans to extend a nationwide abortion prohibition, the risk to women's health, autonomy, and rights are at stake. He proposes a future that rewinds us back to the confined ethos of the 1950s, a time when fair and equal treatment of women was a distant dream.

Hence, it's time we take a stand – for our mothers, our sisters, our friends, and our daughters. Let's not surrender our rights to someone intent on stripping them away. I implore you as fellow Americans, talk to your representatives, make your voices heard. We cannot and should not be silenced.
