Stop Funding Genocide: Harris & Walz, Stand with Americans
The Issue
Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz can win the US Presidency WITHOUT demonizing or blaming Americans of conscious, or leaving them to fight for what’s right on their own.
Tell the Democratic Party to STOP demonizing Americans who call on Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris to listen to:
- American voters against their tax dollars paying for genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank,
- Arab-Americans who stand up for the safety of their trapped and dying families in Gaza and West Bank
- American students who demand protection for American civil rights of free speech and peaceful assembly
- Americans who patriotically challenge the media, politicians and civic leaders when they cowardly submit to bullying by punishing the exercise of speech and peaceful assembly that affirm the dignity and human rights of all peoples.
This is not an election where Democrats must compete for votes against a more progressive independent candidate like presidential elections of yesteryear. VP Kamala Harris says her political strength comes from coalition building in the crucible of San Francisco and California elections and won every race. If VP Harris did it then, she can do it again now.
In this election, VP Harris must build a coalition that includes Americans of all faiths, generations, and political persuasion who want to STOP Israel’s war to push Palestinians, dead or alive, from their legal territory in order to take that territory from them, and terminate any feasible path to Palestinian statehood, forever. Against US Presidents’ expectations towards Israel and occupied-Palestinians since the State of Israel was established in the United Nations in 1948.
This is VP Harris’ election to win, to make her case to all voters that the US government will not emerge with the deadly legacy of Israel’s genocide around our necks. VP Harris MUST use US power to stand up for the US government’s own long-standing national policy objective – proclaimed by every US presidency since the State of Israel was created in 1948 – Palestinian statehood. Appeasement of Israel’s murderous and racist right-wing government must end TODAY because it’s not in American’s interests and not in alignment with Democratic Party values.
On August 8, Vice President Kamala Harris spoke to a gathering of United Auto Workers, in person in Detroit, MI, praising the positive legacy of organized labor “It’s about the collective,” she said. “It’s about understanding no one should ever be made to fight alone, that we are all in this together.” She stated that labor unions fight for fairness, dignity, and freedom that all want.
Doesn’t that sound like the position of people whose families have been slaughtered under Israel and Hamas’ carnage in Gaza?
People who do not want the Israeli government and its influencers limiting American’s freedom of speech, opinion, and peaceful assembly to call out abuse?
People who are standing up against genocide funded by their own government should not be made to fight alone. VP Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz must have their back if they want us to have theirs. This is not “left” nor liberal extremism. IT IS patriotic and family-centered common sense.
