As many know, my father, Robert Dennis murdered my mother, Jasmine Dennis, and then took his life. However, she could’ve escaped when she made the call for help. In December, my father, Robert was in the midst of being arrested by an officer. That was her means of escape. Friend Estep arrived on scene, overruled and dismissed the arrest because he knew my father even though there was clear evidence of domestic violence along with video evidence. This was not the first time my mom asked for help. Had Estep not made this decision, my mother would still be alive.
