Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share that we’ve launched a podcast to amplify the voices of patients impacted by pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and forced mail order pharmacy. Our first episode is out today.
The timing is especially meaningful during Donate Life Month. This week, we celebrated 14 years of gifted life for Wesley, something we never take for granted.
This past year has been incredibly hard. There was a moment I didn’t know if Wesley would survive, and everything else had to pause. But he’s doing better now, and one thing hasn’t changed is that we cannot give up. We are too close to change.
This podcast is part of moving forward and continuing that fight and empowering the voices of others.
Our first episode is powerful, so please bring tissues. Shannon shares the heartbreaking loss of her son after he couldn’t afford his inhaler, and her experience with organ donation. I also share my journey as a mother of a recipient.
