The Issue

Four years ago, my world was turned upside down. My son was forcibly adopted against my will by social services, who decided that he would be better off with another family instead of growing up with his immediate family. Since then, he has been absent from my life, and the pain of that separation is something no parent should ever have to endure.

This experience has exposed me to the darker side of the social services system, one that appears to prioritize forced adoptions over the natural bonds between biological families. The promises of maintaining communication through letters have been largely unfulfilled with only five letters in four years, leaving me in the dark about my son’s well-being and development.

I am not alone in this fight. Many parents across the country are experiencing the same heartache and frustration, facing a system that seems to rip families apart instead of providing the support and guidance they truly need. We hear stories of unnecessary child removals, allegations of corruption, and a system that seems to operate with little accountability.

The goal of this petition is simple yet profound: to put an end to forced adoptions where families are unnecessarily separated and to hold social services accountable for their actions. We need thorough investigations into claims of corruption and an overhaul of the policies that permit such life-altering decisions without proper checks and balances.

Social services should focus on supporting families, offering resources, and maintaining family integrity wherever possible. Children thrive best with their biological families unless there are pressing reasons to remove them for their safety. We must urge the authorities to establish tighter regulations around adoption procedures and enforce transparency and fairness in all decisions made by social workers.

Let us stand together to ensure that no other parent loses a child needlessly, and that social services work in the true best interests of children and families. Sign this petition to demand change, accountability, and justice for all families affected by these issues.
