Thank you so much for signing "Floridians Say: Stop Florida's Permitless Carry Law!"  We have reached 1774 signatures including the in-person ones.

We are now in the LAST 5 DAYS before we print them out Monday morning 3/6 to take to Tallahassee.  Please help us get up to 2500 signatures!

The Legislature has pushed HB543 forward and its next stop is the House floor.  You can call your Representative using https://www.myfloridahouse.gov/findyourrepresentative   In the Senate, the bill is still in committee as S 150.

Here's a list of the common sense amendments offered by Democratic House Leader Dotie Joseph and Reps Cross, Edmonds and Waldron. They were all rejected.  We hope the Senate will consider them!

No storage of firearms in an automobile

No sale of component parts that can be used to make a gun, except to a forearms importer or manufacturer.  Component parts must have serial numbers

Private gun sales may only be done on the premises of a licensed dealer

No guns at voting polls

No guns in shoping malls, music festivals, gas stations, lodging or religious institutions

Unlicensed carriers must carry $100,000 liability insurance

Unlicensed carriers must complete a firearm safety class, have mental health certification, shooting training and a criminal background check, and have a safe forearm storage space.
