On March 9, 2023, during the first week of Session, this petition will be copied and hand delivered (with Floridian signatures) to FL Senate President Passidomo and FL House Speaker Renner.  Signatures from throughout the USA will be delivered to FL Governor Ron DeSantis.

     We, the undersigned, urge you to reject HB 543, "Concealed Carry of Weapons and Firearms Without a License," and to instead implement measures supported by 80% of Americans, for safe gun ownership and violence intervention programs.  

These programs will save, on average,2,849 Floridians per year lost to guns, thus increasing revenue and reducing public costs related to gun violence.

We appreciate your rejection of HB543, in favor of making Florida a safer place to live and visit.
