The Flock Contractor Is Showing Up, DeFlock Binghamton!

Yesterday evening, on Wednesday July 15th, 2026 at 6pm, we packed the Binghamton City Hall and spoke out against the renewal of Automatic License Plate Recognition contracts with the Binghamton City Council. We urged the city council to pass legislation that terminates all aspects of ALPR use in Binghamton. But this has not yet happened, and this is just the beginning. Jared Kraham, the Mayor of the City of Binghamton, has the power to veto the legislation, and has the power to end the contract with Flock Safety. Currently, Binghamton's contract with Flock is set for automatic renewal until we pressure mayor Jared Kraham enough for him to terminate the contract. We must apply more pressure.
This upcoming Thursday, on July 23rd 2026 at 9:30am, a contractor from Flock Safety will be appearing in front of us, in Binghamton City Hall, 38 Hawley St, Binghamton, NY to pressure the Binghamton City Council to support the renewal of the contract. We cannot let this happen! Bring your family, bring your friends, bring your signs, bring your voices! We must pack the room! We must stand together and show the surveillance lobby, the AI-fueled weaponry lobby, that they cannot trick us or pressure us into submission!
