Over the past several weeks, our community volunteers have analyzed thousands of pages of public filings, staff memos, and environmental reviews. We have confirmed the stakes: severe school corridor traffic impacts, private wastewater spray fields placed near flash-flood zones along Pokeberry Creek, and requests for Compact Community Ordinance waivers.
Now, as we head directly into the October 6 Planning Board Hearing and the November 16 Board of Commissioners Final Vote, we must transition from community research to formal legal and technical intervention.

To rigorously challenge developer-funded traffic assumptions along narrow school corridors (Morris, Parker Herndon, Andrews Store Roads) and expose the environmental risks of private wastewater spray fields on tight Vance clay soils.

To provide Chatham neighbors with evidence-backed talking points, transcripts, and maps that keep county leaders accountable to Plan Chatham.
