As i am looking for my lost dog, i come across one that looks identical to mine. So i contact the animal rescue that this dog is at, and the first thing they ask me is if i filled out an adoption application..I said "No im inquiring about a dog you have that looks like my lost dog." She proceeds to tell me that it is impossible that it's my lost dog because ALL their dogs come from Mexico. First of all, if you're really trying to 'rescue' these animals, wouldn't you try to help bring the pet home instead of trying to make money off him/her? Second, if you were truly trying to 'rescue' these animals, why would you only accept animals coming in from Mexico? And again i apologize but "All our animals come in from Mexico" sounds to me like someone is trying to cover their steps. Also, before i ever knew about this shelter, i encountered a woman whose house was one of the last locations my dog was last seen. Well after trying to not allow us to see the dogs, i finally gained access into the home to see the dogs. (Mind you this was the actual woman's mother) She tells me that these are ALL her daughter's dogs, and that there is about 5 of them. While im inside i count about 8 or 9 little doggies that look so much alike(little chiahuahua maybe terrier mix) a lot like my dog as well. And that's only the dog's that were in the main living area..all other doors that i could see, were closed. Long story short the Police got involved and she claimed she was an animal rescue for dogs, and the officer only counted 5 dogs. Okay first off, don't you think the mother would know that her daughter is running an 'Animal Rescue' out of her home? Second, why wouldn't her mother want me to look at the dogs at first? Another thing, why would I count at least 8 or 9 dogs, but the officer only count 5? Sounds to me like they're up to something strange. Also, why would a 'rescue' only rescue a certain type of dog? Doesn't make the slightest bit of sense to me. Plus when at the main animal shelter in my state, there was an animal rescue team there at the same time taking pictures of the small dogs, basically window shopping. I'm mentioning this because someone had mentioned to me that the main shelter and certain rescues have a little thing going on under the table. Meaning they DO NOT scan for microchips of LITTLE DOGS so that the rescue can come pick them up and SELL THEM to the highest bidder. Please help me stop this from happening. They are making money off of peoples misery.
