The Issue

📢 Sign this petition to demand that Facebook/Meta & YouTube take animal cruelty seriously and remove fake ‘rescue’ videos!

All over the world, thousands of videos are circulating in which animals are brutally abused—under the guise of being "rescued." Snakes, cats, dogs, and other animals are deliberately put in danger—tied up, submerged underwater, or exposed to predators—just so someone can film a dramatic "heroic rescue."

These videos are widely shared and generate massive revenue through views and ads. Meanwhile, Facebook and YouTube rarely, if ever, remove them—despite thousands of user reports.

🚨 What’s the issue?
❌ These videos are not real rescues, but staged cruelty for profit.
❌ Facebook & YouTube ignore reports and continue to allow their spread.
❌ Groups and individuals trying to expose these abuses are being censored, while abusers are rewarded with ad revenue.

⚠ Why is this dangerous?

Animals are deliberately put in harm’s way just to make viral content.
It encourages copycat behavior, where people harm animals for likes and views.
Facebook & YouTube profit from these videos through ads and deliberately keep them online.
📢 What do we demand?
✅ A strict ban on fake rescue videos on Facebook, Instagram & YouTube.
✅ Faster and more effective removal of animal cruelty videos when reported.
✅ Transparency: Why are reports being ignored?
✅ Stop penalizing groups and users who try to report these videos.

💡 What can you do?
✔ Sign this petition and make your voice heard!
✔ Share this on Facebook, Twitter/X, and Instagram using #StopAnimalAbuseVideos
✔ Keep reporting these videos and apply pressure on social media!

We must take action now. Animal cruelty should not be tolerated—especially not on platforms making billions from it.

🖊 Sign now and tell Facebook & YouTube that we will not stand for this!
