Having a pet is a responsibility that we take on, not knowing what the future holds. We purchased our dog during lockdown like many other people. He took ill the first week we had him which left us no time to arrange any kind of plan and we have been paying significant amounts ever since.

The last charge just tipped my patience. I was given a bill of £106.00 for 20 tablets which I later found on a website costing 35p per tablet . This was the second time I had been charged this amount for this medication in 9 days. There needs to be a cap on vet bills as it is not surprising how many people are having to give their pets up because they are unable to pay for their care.
