For over four years, residents and local workers in Hastings town centre have endured relentless noise from Carib De L’Afrique, a restaurant at 2 York Buildings, which places a large speaker outside and blasts music for up to 10 hours a day.

Despite numerous complaints to Hastings Borough Council, little has been done to resolve the issue. The constant noise is affecting people’s wellbeing, disrupting homes and workplaces, and contributing to increased anti-social behaviour in the area.

We, the undersigned, call on Hastings Borough Council to take meaningful action to address this ongoing noise pollution and restore a peaceful, respectful environment for all those who live and work in the town centre.
