Stop Excessive Golf Outings: Reclaim Resident Tee Times at Harbor Links

The Issue

If you're a golfer at Harbor Links, you've probably noticed it: getting a tee time after Labor Day (and before Memorial Day next year) is becoming nearly impossible.

This is due to the excessive number of large outings the Town of North Hempstead is allowing on the course during these crucial shoulder seasons. This policy severely limits access for the local residents and taxpayers who are supposed to be prioritized at our public course.

Our Strategy: Show Collective Strength

Individual emails and calls to the Town Board have been ignored, but they cannot ignore hundreds of their constituents signing a unified document.

We are organizing a collective Letter and Petition demanding the Town Board amend the policy to create a reasonable limit on outings after Labor Day and before Memorial Day thereby restoring fair access to residents

This effort only works if we have overwhelming numbers.

1. Sign the Petition

2. Recruit Other Concerned Golfers

Please forward this email to every North Hempstead golfer or resident you know who is affected by the lack of tee times. Tell them to sign up, and ask them to forward it to their network, too.

The more signatures we gather over the next two weeks, the more leverage we have to force this issue onto the Town Board’s agenda.

Thank you for your help in restoring fair access to Harbor Links.
