I am starting this petition because it is something that deeply concerns me. An estimated 670,000 HEALTHY DOGS are being euthanized every year due to Shelter over crowding. Why are we euthanizing healthy dogs?? This needs to stop! I understand shelters are overcrowded and overwhelmed but there has to be other options. These animals cannot stand up for themselves. They rely on us to protect them!  With people like you we can make a difference! With enough signatures and enough media attention we can make a change and make laws to protect them! Every shelter should be a non kill shelter unless the dogs are very ill or very elderly. No Healthy Dog should ever be killed. So join me in making a change for these innocent animals!
