Nearly 2,000 compassionate people have already stood up for the healthy dogs, puppies, cats & kittens who are losing their lives every single day in Australia. Your signatures are not just numbers. They are hope. They are love. They are a promise that these animals are not forgotten.

But I need to speak from the heart:
2,000 signatures won’t be enough to save them.
Not yet.

Every signature is a life.
Every share is a chance.
Every one of you is part of something bigger than you know.

Every day that passes, healthy, adoptable dogs are being euthanised simply because there is nowhere for them to go. They wag their tails. They look up at us with trust. They want to live. And they deserve to.

Germany has already shown the world that this can change. They passed laws to protect healthy dogs — and Australia can too. But only if we make our voices impossible to ignore.

If each of you shares this petition with your wider community — your friends, your workplace, your local groups, your rescue networks — we can grow this movement into something the government cannot look away from.

We are also working on a realistic plan that protects dogs without adding pressure to already stretched government resources. This is about compassion and practicality. It’s about saving lives in a way that works for everyone.
