We are still pushing for the El Monte Union High School board of trustees to drop their plan to take the new Adult Transition Center site in Rosemead away from the students whom it was planned for back in 2022. These students still have nowhere to go, except to stay at their current rundown facility in portable buildings in a parking lot. The YouTube video that is attached to the petition shows how the vote took place. You will see several speakers, including a parent of a special ed. student, a teacher at the school, and an actual student speaking to stop the board from making this unethical and damaging decision to the students, staff, and financially to the district itself. Please share the petition and the YouTube video with family and friends. We need more signatures to keep the pressure on and hopefully get media attention.
