Covet Fashion: Please stop turning our Mystery Prop Credits into Covet Crowns.

Imagine paying for a ticket in a prize draw where some of the prizes are items you already own and therefore cannot actually receive. Your ticket lands on one of them, but instead of getting another draw, you receive a substitute currency of limited value to you.

That’s essentially what happens with Covet Fashion Mystery Prop Boxes.

When a Mystery Prop Box lands on a prop we already own, the duplicate is converted into Covet Crowns. For many players, Crowns simply aren’t an equivalent reward. Their main use is for Limited Hair Packs, and many of us already have more Crowns than we can realistically use.

Meanwhile, Mystery Prop Credits are valuable — and can be purchased with real money.

What we are asking Covet Fashion to change

Once a player owns a prop, that prop should be removed from their Mystery Prop Box prize pool.

If duplicate props must remain possible, then a duplicate should result in either:

-another draw, or

-a refund of the Mystery Prop Credit used.

Receiving Crowns should not be the default replacement for a Mystery Prop Credit spent on a prop we already own.

Mystery Boxes can still be random. We’re not asking to choose which prop we receive. We’re simply asking that every successful draw give us a prop we don’t already own — or give us another chance to draw one.
