Doug Ford has announced major changes to OSAP that will be reducing financial aid grants and access for College and University students across the province.

These changes include the PC government eliminating "free tuition" grants for students from low-income families, entirely removing the 6-month interest-free grace period on the Ontario portion of loans, and taking away grants currently available to students while replacing them with loans. Ultimately, this will lead to higher levels of student debt.

So many low-income and middle-income students rely on OSAP in order to attend College/University. These changes are harmful to all of us. Education should be available to students without entrapping them with mountains of debt upon graduation.

Please do not allow these changes to OSAP to be implemented.
