For years people have given certain dog breeds a bad name. Specific breeds are singled out because of the way they ‘look’ and are deemed ‘dangerous’.

The most common dogs to bite are Chihuahua‘s and Jack Russells. Because of their size, no one cares about this. The most loving and best temperament dogs are bigger dogs. You can’t blame a breed for a dog’s behaviour. Dogs behaviour come from how they are raised, be that it’s the way they are trained or neglected and not trained at all in the correct way. 

BAD OWNERS RAISE ‘BAD DOGS’. Again this isn’t the dogs fault, it’s doing what it has been trained to do or lack of training. 

Instead the breed should be irrelevant. What needs to happen is people should be vetted thoroughly to ensure they are fully capable of giving said dog the love, affection and training it needs and educate people how to look after these animals how they deserve.

If a white/Asian/black etc man killed a person, are they going to kill every man of their ethnicity? … No! So why is this what happens to the dog breeds?? 

Just because a dog of a certain breed behaved ‘inappropriately’ this makes it okay to kill the whole breed in the UK?? They are mammals just like us, only difference is we are not respecting them in the way they deserve and are letting them down causing all others to suffer because HUMANS ARE TO BLAME, NOT THE DOGS. 

Dogs are a man’s best friend and have been for hundreds of years. All they want is love, affection and loyalty and we are failing them miserably. 

Please sign this to be the voice for all the fur babies who can’t. REMOVE ALL BANS ON DOG BREEDS AND INSTEAD BRING FORWARD DOG LICENCES AND VETTING TO OWN A DOG. 

My sweet sweet boy has never hurt a fly. He is the softest, most loving, loyal and amazing temperament. He is my family, he is my baby. He is the closest thing I have to a child.
By the end of the year I may have to say good bye because people cannot respect them. Let’s be honest people don’t respect each other, let alone anything else.
