This is our gorgeous boy Jasper.  Jasper has epilepsy.  Did you know that fireworks can trigger seizures in dogs?  Did you know that seizures can kill?

This petition is a simple request to the organisers of The Big Church Festival to use low noise firework displays or Drone Displays at their future events. 

The events are held at the Wiston Estate in West Sussex, in the South Downs National Park.  Nearby, Cissbury Ring is home to a herd of wild ponies.  

The local people whose beloved pets are terrified by the fireworks would like your support.  

We don’t want to stop festival goers from enjoying their time, we just simply want the organisers to realise the detrimental effects their loud fireworks have on the local wildlife and the risk they pose to our pets.

Some facts about how fireworks affect animals. 

Bees become so disoriented that they don’t go back to their hives.

Birds have panic attacks causing mass death.

Wild animals raising young abandon their dens and babies in fear. 

Fish and other animals die after ingesting firework debris.

Pets have panic attacks, anxiety and seizures.
