Stop Disney from gutting Frontierland at Walt Disney World

The Issue

“Here we experience the story of our country’s past … the colorful drama of Frontier America in the exciting days of the covered wagon and the stagecoach … the advent of the railroad … and the romantic riverboat. Frontierland is a tribute to the faith, courage, and ingenuity of the pioneers who blazed the trails across America.”  Those are words from Walt Disney himself.

With the newly proposed additions to Frontierland in Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom, the initial idea of this area will be gutted to insert intellectual property that does not coincide with the "theme" of this land.  Cars in the "Old West" makes absolutely zero sense from a historical, or aesthetic standpoint.  When considered with what is on the slate to be cut from the area; Tom Sawyer Island, Rivers of America, and the Liberty Belle Riverboat, Frontierland will resemble nothing of the American frontier.

Frontierland has been a staple of the Magic Kingdom for it's entire existence.  Disney has always, until recently, made it a priority to preserve original parts of Walt Disney World for the lifelong memories for it's guests, not to mention the legacy Walt and Roy Disney built.  There is plenty of space in Walt Disney World for any number of ideas that would make great additions to the Resort. Disney makes decisions based on guest feedback and opinions.  This petition is not an attempt to stop the Walt Disney Company from changing things, just don't erase the parts that have made it great for so many years.
