So I've been thinking about it and I know what will happen. DeviantArt or Nick Julian III have to allow me to make changes to their rules/policies. The reason why is because theses policies are the reason why artists are losing their art in a fast pace.
I'll list down what should be added and or removed so people/artist can be happy (as well as myself)
1. More ways to label the image
There's one to two options when posting. Nothing or Mature. But even if setting the picture to Mature, it will get deleted ether way. So there should be a option called Adults Only. This'll be perfect on both ways for artists and the DA staff so no teens can see some inappropriate pictures without being 21.
2. Getting a notification from DA asking you to add a Mature or Adults Only to the picture
I don't know why, but you just don't get a message from DA staff like every other message you get like favorites or comments. That needs a fix.
3. A better search engine
When you're searching up something like a character, you get a bunch of pictures that has nothing to do what you're searching.
4. Using Ruffle to let you play flash games on DeviantArt
Since Flash closed down, an alternative was made called Ruffle. A few art sites actually use it. I don't know why DA didn't use it too, so why not have it.
5. Titling the image/animation/video
To explain what I mean "They're having fun at the party" but DA wants it like this "Theyre having fun at the party". I seriously have no idea why this hasn't been fixed, but it should be.
6. The policies needs to be remove/fixed.
Nudity: With a Adults Only tag, no issue.
Erotic Content: Again with the Adults Only tag, no issue. But the Mature tag, no problem.
Explicit Illustrated Content: Again with the Adults only tag, no issue.
Pornography: So I even say it? It's obvious at this point.
Celebrity or Public Figure: This is stupid because I've seen pictures of voice actors with characters they voiced, so this should be removed.
Child Exploitation: This is a good reason to keep this. If it wasn't very strict about it. Seriously my art was deleted for an unknown reason and this was the caused of it. My art has adults in it and this just needs a massive fix.
7. Reporting users/pictures
So there's a lot of users who cause nothing but misbehaving. I've seen one of them and they have not, I repeat NOT been suspended. I was, but this bad user? Unacceptable.
8. Hacked Groups
I've actually seen the hacked group and... it was very messed up. Dead children is the only thing I remember and DeviantArt hasn't done anything about it. People support DA for some reason and they haven't fix this massive issue.
9. Accounts getting deactivated
If you were an innocent user just reposting someone's art (with credit), DA will just deactivate your account. That's pretty harsh for someone who goes to school for the blind. Yes the boss of DA is a student for a school for the blind and he's okay with all of this.
10. Replace the bot with an actual human
The reasons why reporting or art getting deleted is because of a broken DA bot named Devart. This is a massive cause it just doesn't want to work 95% of the time. Replace it and actually have an actual human being to contact.
So that's what's gonna happen when DA or the boss will contact me and everything on DeviantArt will be fixed, polish, and everyone can be happy.
