The owners and residents of Trinity Oaks will be negatively affected by the development of this proposed Daycare facility to be erected on parcel 35-26-16-0010-00000-00A0. 

Additionally, Trinity Oaks Elementary students and parents will experience longer wait times entering and exiting the school as the additional 300 plus cars will be competing with the limited space Trinity Oaks Blvd provides. Currently the traffic in and out of the school overflows onto Kinsmere Blvd, Danubian and Prestwick within Trinity Oaks. Additionally, traffic lines are at a standstill on Mitchell Blvd from Trinity Oaks Blvd up to one half mile west in a through lane not intended for right turns. Residents of Trinity Oaks are forced to make and illegal right turn into the community from the left lane. There are two Safety Officers located at Trinity Blvd and Kinsmere Blvd, insufficient to protect the children with our current traffic issue. 

Trinity Oaks has begged the county for years to address this traffic Hazard with little or no response. Now, instead of working towards a safer solution, the county is prepared to approve the development of the parcel to a business that would only increase traffic with additional children's safety at stake. 

Trinity Oaks has been in constant communication with Kathryn Starkey, County Commissioner, Kathryn Dolatowski, Executive Assistant to Chairman Kathryn Starkey, Venkat Vattikuti, Traffic Operations Manager , Kurt Browning, Superintendent Pasco County Schools, Pasco County Planners, all to no avail. 

Trinity Oaks President Jackie Borree, sat down with Commissioner Starkey on January 13 2021 in an effort to provide real solutions to the already growing problem. Mrs. Starkey requested follow up information and pledged to work towards a solution i.e reversing the traffic pattern for Trinity Oaks Elementary, acquiring land purchased by an investor that would increase lane capacity for the school. Follow up information was sent to all of the aforementioned parties with little or no response. 

There is a solution to this traffic hazard, however, the county and all involved parties need to work together towards that solution. Building more on already overcrowded roads is not the solution.
