Here at Exeter Cathedral, we have grave reservations about the plans to make Barnfield Road a one-way system.  Yes this will be massively inconvenient for those of us who live and work in and around Southernhay, Chapel Street and Cathedral Green, but more significant and perilous will be the commercial traffic delivering daily to Princesshay and in large numbers when we hold the Cathedral Christmas Market.  The right turn to enable them to exit along Southernhay will require a tricky and dangerous manoeuvre, and the length of the queues, already significant, will increase exponentially at busy times.  We urge you to rethink.
