The developers of Silver Lake Garden Apartments will present their proposal for 76 apartments in three 4- and 5-story buildings to the City Planning Commission on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 17 at 10:30 AM. This is our LAST CHANCE to stop a project that overwhelms our neighborhood while providing only 6 affordable units.

Why we oppose this project:
• Landlord cited for 100+ active code violations and 60 LAHD complaints
• Located in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone
• Apparent California Building Code violations, esp. in a Liquefaction Zone
• Developers seek major waivers (height increase, reduced parking, environmental exemptions)
• 400 additional car trips per day
• Dozens of parking spaces short
• Unanimously opposed by the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council
