Stop Dangerous Dog Owner Reclaiming His Dogs: Justice for Pip. Keep our streets safe!

The Issue

My mum’s beloved sausage dog, Pip, was brutally attacked and killed in a children’s park/field in Ayeland Gardens, GL1 Gloucester, due to an irresponsible dog owner. This man is known in the area for having no control over his animals.

This man owns two German Shepherds (Alsatians)  a brown and a black one but he only walks them one at a time because he cannot control them together. Local residents have stated that his dogs are known for this type of behaviour as is the man himself. One of the dogs recently pulled at a man’s trousers, and the dogs have gone for multiple other dogs in the area. Many locals have informed me that they have stopped using the park entirely and walk their dog on the main road as it’s safer. If this is a known issue why is nothing happening if this time it has ended in death.

This  man approached my mum intentionally, public witnesses can also confirm this happened uninvited whilst his dog was on a lead…. Despite being on a lead this man allowed his dog to latch onto Pip her tiny sausage dog, and let his dog maul him to death. He did nothing to stop it. He stood there and watched Pip die. When my mum pleaded with him and tried to intervene he assaulted her. She is heartbroken, we all are but if that isn’t bad enough  when his dog released Pip the man picked up his lifeless body and threw him in my mother’s face before laughing and walking away.

To my disbelief this man has continued to ridicule my mum by walking around the area, mocking her by making comments and laughing at her grief while flaunting his remaining dog…. Yet despite everything, this man faces no consequences and it is now believed his dog may be returned to him.

This man is a danger to our community for as long as he has possession of animals. He has shown no remorse for taking his life. He didn’t take accountability he instead laughed at my grieving mum after allowing his dog to kill Pip and now, he may continue to own these dangerous animals — in public parks, near innocent children and other pets.

I am making this petition today as we aim -

To ensure that these dogs are not returned to his owner.

To permanently ban this man from owning animals.

To ensure that there is an investigation and that the owner is held accountable.

Our other dog Maggie who witnessed the attack now continues to cry and circles the area where Pip died. She won’t eat and is not the same dog at all. She is traumatised. Our whole family is traumatised.

We are heartbroken, angry, and desperate for help. Pip didn’t deserve to die. No dog or person should ever suffer this way it is undeserving and unbearable.

We need justice. We aren’t asking for money, we aren’t asking for anything but your support!! 🐾  Please sign and share.

This time it was Pip. Next time, it could be your pet or worse your child.
