Upon discussing the issue of constant noise pollution in Ratoath with a local property sales firm there is concern that the desirability of the town as a place to live is at risk due to the continuous noise over the town from illegal flight paths.

"If this does not abate, we could see demand to live in the town of Ratoath to fall.....who wants to live under a noisy flightpath" says a local property sales agent who declined to provide her name or company she works for.

She further goes on to say "Ratoath was always considered a quiet place to live away from the Hussle and bustle of city life but just within reach of the city. This is not the case anymore."

This shall obviously impact the many thousands of people in the town and in particular people who have moved into the growing area in the past 3 to 5 years as they may fall into negative equity.

You can thank the DAA for this negative impact but also local representatives who are not making the effort to force the Dublin Airport to obey the rule of law and stop violating planning permission.
