Innocent chickens are being tortured, and abused. At Dewey’s Place Moorcroft, Wyoming they gather and chase scared chickens around a pen where they attempt to get ropes tied around chickens on either end,  pull them apart, potentially killing them but 100% torturing them and hurting them… then turn around and eat poor chickens from the kitchen fridge. People around the pen cheer and scream in excitement as these chickens are suffering, in pain and scared for their lives. These pure and innocent animals, confused and frightened by why someone would  want to hurt them for fun. People screaming at them while they try to escape, and save their own lives. If this was done with cats or dogs this would have been stopped immediately. All animals feel the same pain. Chickens are incredibly sensitive and vulnerable animals. They are also kind and deserve respect and protection. There is no reason why anyone or any business should host “entertainment” of torturing animals. It’s 2023 we are suppose to be better than this. They call it “having fun”, they allow children to watch and participate in torturing animals. If they are ok with allowing this kind of abuse to happen, whose to say they haven’t killed them, or what does it show or teach any of the patrons to act this savagely towards live innocent animals then turn around and order chicken wings for dinner…? The “winner” gets cash and the chicken, tormented for “family friendly fun” …. Nobody deserves that kind of inhumane treatment. They are individuals, clearly frightened and NOT enjoying being treated like a meaningless object the way this place encourages customers to treat them as. We must not let this kind of behavior towards animals be accepted. Dewey’s Place and every other business practicing animal cruelty like this needs to be stopped and shut down. We can not let them behave so disgustingly without any consequences. The chickens deserve this win. The Moorcroft Police department and Sheriff are aware of the situation and have been receiving phones calls about it.
