The impact professors make on their students’ lives is profound. In a year marked by a pandemic, high rates of unemployment, protests, and immense strains on their mental health, the students at County College of Morris have had one constant that helped us feel a sense of normalcy and stability in such a tumultuous year, our professors. The professors and other faculty have worked tirelessly to create a comfortable virtual learning environment to lessen the stress and anxiety amongst their students.

As of July 1st, seven of our professors will be losing their jobs without just cause or fair notice. Among the seven tenure-track professors that are losing their jobs are the union president and two union chairs--some just months before being allowed the tenure they worked hard for. County College of Morris, after obtaining a $12.7 million government grant for covid relief is unceremoniously letting some of our best and brightest faculty members go in a blatant case of union busting. We WILL NOT stand for this!

Help us get the word out to our County College of Morris president Anthony Iacono, and the Morris County Board of Trustees. Tell them to vote no! No firing, no union busting!
