After an open public meeting in Donegal Town which saw well over 100 local people voice their objections and concerns to the layout and issues arising from the revised "One Way System"  a letter was sent by registered post to Donegal Co Council stating that the attendees wanted work stopped until the council met with the small delegation formed from the meeting. 

Today a letter was distributed to town residents informing them road resurfacing work will begin next week.

The people of Donegal Town are not happy with the impact this layout is having on traffic congestion and parking. The council have been asked to stop and listen but seem intent on pushing on so that no changes are possible.
