‘During cruise, both pilots became aware that we had experienced
very slight symptoms of dizziness, difficulty in concentrating, grogginess and lethargy. Cabin crew member inexplicably poured water on galley top instead of sink and flight control check missed on taxi, picked up by checklist.’
The aircraft returned to Heathrow operating the BA467 service slightly later than planned, arriving into LHR 3.20hrs late.

‘Engineers called and on subsequent engine runs with captain onboard the problem returned. Further tests were completed without flight crew, fumes continued to fill cabin, so much so that the engineers had to stop their tests because fumes were overpowering.’
Aircraft was positioned back to LHR on 19 February.
