The hobby aquarium trade is a multi-million dollar industry responsible for the death of hundreds of millions of wild fish, illegal poaching and destruction of reef ecosystems.  As seen in the film The Dark Hobby, the Kona coast of Hawaii has been the major supply source  for tropical reef fish with millions suffering and dying in captivity.

Petco is a major contributor to this suffering and decline of reef fish. We are calling for Petco to follow Walmart's recent decision to stop importing wild fish.
