At this point, I am in support of the real estate contract.

This is just part of the process. The user contacts the city and expresses interest. The city and the user sign an NDA so some terms of the contract can be hammered out. This, obviously, makes it so that the business can have time to work through some details.

Then the real estate contract is proposed, but the deal is not done. There is time for public engagement and time for them to get a site plan in order etc. They would not take the time and resources to do this without a contract, otherwise it would be a waste. This is how real estate deals are done, no different than Costco or anyone else who buys city land. We are early yet. Plenty of time for folks to provide input.

Citizens can make their voices heard at the 9/11 city council meeting. It begins at 6PM. Register with the city secretary to speak. This needs to be done by noon the day of.
